It’s become an inevitable that most iPhone clones eventually get a facelift or upgrade. The original iClone P168 has gone through at least three versions. So, it’s logical then that the HiPhone (the very popular shake to the music model) would eventually get an over haul as well.
Interestingly, the time of this transformation was about when the Nokia N95 came out and was loaded with productivity features like WiFi, GPS, and Windows Mobile. Of course, all of us clone lovers were holding our collective breath, hoping that the N95 clone would have these additions. It didn’t. Although the CECT N95 had practically every other feature, it lacked WiFi and GPS.
There is an import with Windows Mobile 6.0. It’s called the HiTune, but it’s more of a BlackBerry clone. So, we knew that these sought after features could be added cheaply. We just weren’t sure when.
The HiPhone T32 is the newest version of the HiPhone and it certainly did not disappoint. It added those three new features. Finally, we now have an iPhone clone which houses WiFi, GPS, and Windows Mobile all in one phone.
The T32 is called a few different names like CECT T32 and Daxian X999 to name a few, but whatever you call it, even if you take out the new trinity of features, it’s a really nice phone. The company has left all of the features that made the original HiPhone popular like the ability to: surf the web, email, and text via WAP browsing, MMS and SMS messaging; take photos and video on the upgraded 2.0 mega pixel digital camera and video cam; enjoy Bluetooth; listen to and watch MP3s and MP4s; advance music by only shaking the phone; and download Java software. (Of course now the WiFi, GPS and Windows are there as well).
Word, PowerPoint and Excel are typically already loaded onto this phone. Countless other applications can be downloaded using Java. These new features really add entire new productivity dimension to this phone that was lacking before. I can now finally say these phones have all of sought after features that most anyone would ever need. The performance is still consistent and high, with the trademark CECT speakers that will blow out your ears and the digital camera that takes sharp photos edited only using your fingers.
So far, consumers are buying this phone even though it is among the most expensive of the clones with a price of just under $300. Most people don’t blink an eye to pay this for all of the features you are getting, since the mainstream models would cost a whole lot more.
